Grassmere Park has served as a family-friendly recreational destination for the local community since the 1800's, when it was known as "Hess's Grove", hosting family and local community picnics and church services.
In the early 1900's, the Bloomsburg and Sullivan Railroad Company purchased the land and gave it the name, "Grassmere Park". The property has been family-owned since 1923 and the campground was added to the property in 1971.
Today, Grassmere Park offers campers access to Fishing Creek, a 3-acre activity field for a friendly game of baseball, frisbee, or just relaxing in the sun, horseshoe pits, a playground, and nearby Ricketts Glen State Park and hiking trails. We are open for camping from mid-April through Mid-October.
